New research from the UK's leading independent celebrity fashion website has revealed that 1 in 3 men admit to lying on the first date; with the most common lie told surrounding their job or profession.

The top 5 most common lies were as follows:

1. job or profession - 47%

2. relationship history - 38%

3. hobbies or interests - 25%

4. car - 19%

5. living situation - 12%
